Saturday June 21st we took Nevaeh to the Freedom Festivals' annual baby contest. We decided a night before the festival that we wanted to enter just for fun! Well...it seems to be that Nevaeh just wasn't fit to be a beauty queen! I guess it's not her cup of tea! She was Ms. Grouchy when it came to showing off for the judges. She was a fuss and made THE FACE ABOVE the entire time she was being judged. They'd try to make her laugh and she'd look at them like saying, "You idiots, quit poking my face with that little fuzzy thing, don't you guys know you look so dumb making those silly faces, trying to get me to smile. I REFUSE!" and that she did!! Either way it was a fun experience. At least we won a little bag of goodies in the raffle they had! So it seems like Nevaeh doesn't have bad luck after all! She's a babe, Nidia. Don't worry, in a few years, you're going to wish she wasn't so cute when boys take up all her time. ;^) By the way, her dress is insanely cute.
